Not needed

The last thing Tollerton needs is a general convenience store. How tone-deaf must the people behind this venture be, to consider a shop selling items including tobacco and alcohol opposite the pub which we, the village own, would be well-received? It’s not needed and, I’d hazard a guess, is not wanted. The village post office is a good general store and we need to protect Palma and his valuable services to the community.
